This series was manufactured 1907 to 1940. Features pinned front sight. Simply stamped "SMITH & WESSON" on left side and ".38 S&W CTG" on right. The black composition grips have matching serial number stamped on right panel. Matching serial number can also be found stamped on five shot cylinder, latch and rear face of barrel. The finish is factory blue with case colored trigger. No hammer. CONDITION: Revolver shows overall high edge wear with light thinning on left side of frame and freckling on front grip strap. Excellent grips. Indexes and locks up like new. Sharp cut lands with shiny grooves. Very nice 85%, all matching, scarce blued Bicycle Model.
