Lot contains: (A) Prussian M52 cavalry saber, and (B) Prussian "Blucher" model saber. (A) Imperial German cavalry saber made by "Carl Eickhorn" with a 34" blade dated 1914 in overall good condition. Sharpened blade is in very good condition, with scattered marks and freckling. Steel fittings and wire-wrapped shark skin grip are in good condition. Blued scabbard is in very good condition, with scattered marks, freckling, and a number of light dings. Imperial German unit markings "5/RR.6.6" are present on scabbard. (B) Imperial German "Blucher" cavalry saber with a 29" unmarked blade dated 1910 in good condition. Sharpened blade is in very good condition, with scattered marks and freckling. Steel fittings and black trylon grip are in good condition. Crossguard is dated 1920 which indicates "Reichswehr" reissue, and has the unit marking of "B.S.". Blued scabbard is in very good condition, with freckling and scattered light marks. Unit marking of "B.S." is also present on the scabbard, along with the number "13" present on both the scabbard and its throat.
