This small frame Lightning features full octagon barrel, half magazine, sporting front sight, single leaf rear sight, blued finish, case colored hammer, brass loading gate, one piece checkered forearm, walnut stock and Colt composite buttplate. CONDITION: This gun remains in superb condition. Barrel retains approximately 95% original finish with razor sharp edges and legends, and just some high edge wear on barrel. Magazine is a blue-grey patina. Frame retains 97-98% of the original high polish Colt blue finish with just minor high edge wear; shines like a mirror with bold pony on left side. 98% case colors on hammer. Wood is excellent to near mint with just a couple of minor bumps, proud to metal. Strong, clean and well defined rifling. One of the best condition small frame Colt Lightnings we have offered.
