Standard Model 1918 L.F. & C knuckle knife measuring 11-3/4" overall with a 6-7/8" double edge blade. Brass handle engraved "Compliments of Seattle Tent & Awning Co", purchased by them as surplus and given to customers as Christmas presents in 1923. Blade exhibits most of its original blackened finish and nicely toned brass handle. Accompanying the knife is an original letter of appreciation sent with the knife by the Seattle Tent & Awning Company to customers, as a thank-you for past business. CONDITION: Letter is framed and in excellent condition.
