Handmade of brass and wood this copy of a Civil War 32 pound costal gun on a barbet carriage. These were the type seen at Charleston, mounted on circular bases with wheels to allow the cannons to be spun and pointed at any direction out to sea. This model moves on the carriage and traverse rails and comes with fire bucket and loading tool, muzzle plug. Brass wheels. Removable adjustment block. Touch hole cleaner. Everything is attached with brass chains. Cannon measures 6 - 1/2" long and is bored through with touch plug. 3" wheels, 12" carriage. Model on top of base stands approximately 7" tall. Comes in a beautiful display case with glass. CONDITION: Unused but toned and aged.
