June 12-13, 2019 Edged Weapon, Armor, & Militaria
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/12/2019
Lot consists of: (A) Example of the Spanish Universal Grenade, manufactured in Barcelona circa 1936 for the Spanish Civil War. It uses the B-3 fuze, a copy of the Polish/French. The grenade is in very good condition; no foundry marks were noted. (B) Not frequently seen in the US, this is an excellent example of the Spanish R41 grenade, in the offensive configuration. Fielded in the late 80’s to early 90’s, this has factory inert markings. There is one minor scoring high on one side of the grenade, possibly from dropping. Otherwise the grenade and fuze are flawless. (C) Odeti M1 offensive/defensive grenade from Brazil. Fielded in the 1960’s it has a crack around the circumference of the upper body and the safety pin is missing. The fuze is otherwise complete and the fragmentation sleeve is in place.
