9mm Bergmann, 4" barrel. The pistol is marked "ANCIENS ETABLISSEMENTS PIEPER.-HERSTAL-LIEGE.-BERGMANN'S PATENT." There are Belgian proof marks on the barrel and receiver and there is a Danish proof mark on the left receiver and a Danish inventory number of "2219" on the right receiver. CONDITION: Barrel with strong bore showing frosting along its length. The metal surfaces retain about 90% original blue, the loss due to very light muzzle and high point point wear. The firing pin retainer is showing some minor pinprick pitting and oxidation staining. The trigger, magazine release, hammer and safety are all slightly oxidized with age. The checkered walnut grips rate about very good with flattening of the points at the top circles and a few chipped points on the lower section and they are stamp-numbered to the gun on their interior. Overall a very nice example of a Danish military M1910 not later converted to an M1910-21 with matching grips and non-matching magazine.
