Lot consists of: (A) Ashmore marked flintlock Kentucky style rifle with octagon smoothbore barrel with illegible signature. Rifle sights. Full curly maple stock with brass hardware including 4 piece engraved patchbox. Carved wrist and forestock. 8 silver inlays with four missing. Single trigger. CONDITION: Overall poor with wood missing chunks near lock. Inlays missing. Reconverted lock with barrel be shortened. Good restoration project. (B) D.M Caswell signed New York flintlock Kentucky style rifle. Full octagon rifled barrel with rifle sights. Full curly maple stock with brass hardware. Checkered wrist and silver monogrammed cheek inlay. Flint lock with single trigger control. CONDITION: Worn appearance with cracks and breaks. Reconverted flint lock. Good project. (C) H. Gibbs Lancaster, Pennsylvania signed back action percussion Kentucky rifle. Full octagon smoothbore barrel with rifle sights. Single trigger. Full curly maple stock with wrist checkering and brass hardware. Silver thumbpiece inlay. CONDITION: Aged patina with honest wear. Good mechanics with dark bore. No visible restoration or repairs.
