Argentine Police marked FN Hi-Power semi automatic pistol. Made in Belgium circa 1961 on contract for the Buenos Aires Police. Typical patent dates partially visible on the left side of the slide. Belgian proofs present on the frame, slide and barrel. Right side of the frame is marked "POLICIA P.ROV.BS AIRES-61". Left side of the frame is marked "DIV. INTERNAL SEC". Standard blade front sight with a v-notch rear. Metal components have been refinished with a parkerized finish. This was most likely done by the importer. No import mark found. Replaced wood grips. Includes 1 period 13 round magazine. CONDITON: Metal retains 85% of its reapplied finish with some wear and scratches. Grips are excellent. Bore is frosted with crisp rifling. Magazine safety has been disconnected. Magazine is excellent. JWA
