Matching numbers or partial number observed on frame, trigger guard assembly, butt, and barrel assembly. Classic configuration with 8" round barrel, six shot rebated cylinder, one piece walnut stocks. Cut at recoil shield and toe for a stock. Brass trigger guard with steel backstrap. Revolver has been engraved with open scroll over barrel, top portion of cylinder, frame, trigger guard, front and backstrap. Case colored frame and hammer. Date of engraving unknown, possibly period. CONDITION: Very good, barrel assembly a silvery patina with falshes of blue. Case colors visible, largely on frame and protected area of hammer. Grips are very good with some scattered marks, but no cracks or large chips, slightly undersized to strap. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good. EW
