1906 Navy first issue altered frame reworked with an added frame extension to turn it into a post-War Navy Carbine. Ramp front sight and 2 position Navy sight on the rear toggle link. Crown N proofs on the bottom of the barrel and the left side of the breach block. 3 crown M navy proofs on the left side of the receiver. "DWM" in scroll on the front toggle link, extractor is marked "GELADEN" and the safety is marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position with a milled slot in the lower position. Long frame with extension added. Checkered wood grips with a grip safety. Forestock has a checkered panel with sling swivel and is attached with a wedge. Rear detachable stock has a checkered panel at the wrist. The stock iron is un-numbered. Horn butt plate. Nickled magazine has a "GERMANY" export stamp on the wood bottom. CONDITION: Gun has been professionally restored and retains 97% of the aftermarket applied finish. The contoured carbine rear stock and the fore stock are modern manufactured stocks. Sharp checkered grips both have been recut. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. REW
