Kentucky style halfstock percussion rifle made in Xenia, Ohio by S.L. Walker circa 1850. 35 - 1/2" octagon rifled .40 caliber barrel with hunting sights and marked with "S.L. WALKER/XENIA, OHIO". Percussion commercial style lock controlled by double triggers. Curly maple halfstock with brass hardware, pewter nosecap, and hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Overall poor with metal fading to plum. Wood has been cleaned with light handling marks. Shootable bore with nonfunctioning mechanics. DLM
