SSP. Thermometer is Maker Marked Reliance Advertising. A fair example of this iconic Porcelain Thermometer from Red Crown Gasoline, showing both Red Crown Gasoline as well as Polarine Motor Oils. CONDITION: Sign shows fair color in the red & white porcelain with significant fading and discoloration in the blue porcelain, causing it to appear black. Thermometer shows a relatively chip free and damage free field showing discoloration as well as some surface scratching but overall displays well. Thermometer shows a tube but is not in working order and the piece is mounted to a wood backing for a nice display. Although the piece shows heavy wear it displays well and has an excellent patina type look to it.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
