The left side of the slide bears the Mauser logo followed by stampings stipulating the manufacturer information, as well as the model and caliber designations. Left side of trigger guard bow bears an "(Eagle) / WaA135" waffenamt, with the right bears an "(Eagle) / N" commercial nitro proof, which is also present on the right side of the slide and chamber. Metal components exhibit a salt blue finish, with the barrel being properly in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame and barrel, with the slide matching via the last 3 digits, applied with an electro-pencil. Pistol is accompanied by a brown leather holster stamped with an bearskin oakleaf 9 1942 dated leather holster containing 1 spare magazine. Interior of holster is faintly ink stamped "Mauser 7.65". Metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal applied blue finish, exhibiting some light surface freckling as well as some areas of wear and thinning showing through to pleasant gray and brown patinas. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing as well as some nicks and a couple impressions, but are otherwise fine. Holster is malleable, showing some wear and scattered marks from handling and storage. MLW
