SST. Sign is Maker Marked Chas. W. Shonk Co., Chicago. Rare & early C. 1920's Embossed Tin Sign for Kelly Tires showing an early Tire & "Lotta Miles" graphic. Sign shows a privilege area for "Mission Garage & Machine Shop, Turlock, California". CONDITION: Sign shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field showing a fairly clean graphic with bright lettering. Sign shows moderate areas of scratching and paint loss throughout the field with some minor areas of wear along the outer edge. Sign shows tack nail holes at the four corners and although worn displays an excellent patina type look perfect for a weathered display.
