A Luttrell miniature scale Mud Wagon coach modeled after the “DeMoss” Stagecoach that traveled between Carson City, Nevada to Hangtown, California in the 1860s, carrying such luminaries as Mark Twain, Ulysses S. Grant, and Horace Greeley. The body is 21" long, the coach overall is 38" 1//2" wide and 16" tall including the bags and luggage. Mud Wagons had canvas tops and sides to reduce the weight on the muddy and rough roads of the Western terrain. They also cost about half the price of a full Concord Coach.
