Manufactured 1936-1950. Blue finish, dovetailed ramp front sight, Marbles folding rear sight, cartridge head embedded on left side of frame. Lyman tang sight, plain pistol grip walnut stock, checkered metal Remington butt plate, and grooved forearm. CONDITION: Excellent. Frame retains about 85% blue, starting to drift with scattered age freckling. Barrel in commensurate condition with light handling, high edge wear and few freckles. Barrel & frame legends are sharp. Stock is solid but there are two 1" scars on both sides along with assorted dings. Action and bore are fine.
