Extremely rare set of Colt Thuer third model derringers in the original factory Colt pink picture box. These guns were manufactured between 1870 and 1912. Blue barrels with nickel frames amd half moon front sights. Nitre blue screws, trigger, and hammer. Spur trigger and hammer. One gun has wood grip panels and the other has ivory grip panels. They have a swing-open action. On the top of the barrel is "-COLT-". They come in an extremely rare two-piece pink box with wood dowel inserts to keep the guns in place. The top pink label has the Rampant Colt logo and "COLT'S / 41 CAL. / BREECH-LOADING / DERINGER". CONDITION: Both guns retain virtually all of the original applied blue and Nickel finish. Vibrant nitre blue on the small parts. Bright and shiny bores with sharp lands and grooves. Grips are minty with minimal wear. The box is solid with the edges having some storage wear. The label shows some fading, chipping, and some staining.
