German World War II 4-power ZF4 sniper scope with mount for the G/K43 semi-automatic rifle. The blued scope is marked "Gw ZF4", "ddx" (Voigtlaender u. Sohn AG, Braunschweig), serial number 43224, and the blue triangle (lubricated for artic conditions), with functional elevation and windage (with cap) knobs, standard German 3-point reticle, and slightly cloudy optics. Complete phosphated scope mount is correctly marked with a "WaA359" (Walther), electric pencil etched rifle serial number of "3325", with a functional and correctly marked mounting/ release lever. Sunshield and rubber eyecup are original, as is the correct scope covers with wooden plug. Inside the scope box is an original dark green glass scope lens filter wrapped in its wartime paper. The scope box is a repainted early postwar reproduction, and the strap is an East German bread bag strap. CONDITION: Overall excellent. WEZ
