The curved blade is decorated with two etched panels on each side that feature floral decorations. There are also engraved and gilded florals on each side as well as a panoply of arms on the left side. Fluted ivory grip with gilt brass horse head pommel and guard with 6 piercings. Gilt brass scabbard decorated with arms motifs, bellflowers, and foliate designs on front side. CONDITION: Blade shows some light frosting and spotting, some damage to edge towards ricasso. Hilt retains generous amounts of gilt finish. Grip shows some hairline age cracks and 3 minor chips on left side. Tang has an iron washer added for tightening. Scabbard retains most of gilt finish and has a couple minor shallow dents on back.
