Manufactured in 1991 by Colt and shipped in Colt Shop Order# 170256 as a 100 piece special Cutaway Edition of custom built Single Action Armies to Southern Ohio Distribution at 100 South Mechanic Street Lebanon, Ohio on July 29, 1992. Colt further comments on these special editions: "It is also interesting to note that the cutaway design has a long history with Colt and has been used over the years for educational instruction and demonstration purposes. However, this is the first time that Colt produced a decorative special edition of this nature." 4 - 3/4" barrel chambered in .45 Long Colt, 2 line barrel address, nickel finish, nitre blued small parts, and smooth walnut grips. Cutaway in a manner so that the mechanics of all the major parts of this American legend are visible. Accompanied by the factory box and shipping sleeve with label confirming configuration. CONDITION: Excellent+ and near mint, with virtually all of the original finishes remaining with scattered superficial handling marks. Grips are in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Box is excellent with minor wear.
