Only 3,000 of these were made between 1826 and 1829, and this example is dated 1828. Original belt hook on the left side of the pistol. Good cartouche. CONDITION: Gun remains in fine untouched condition. Even age patina with pitting and rust. Markings are good, although the "S. NORTH" marking under the "US" on the lock is very weak. Wood has some dings and handling marks, with a few old glued cracks around the lock area. Original flintlock configuration. Good mechanical function. GR
