A matching TENO Leader's Dagger with correct leather hangers. The TENO Leader Dagger was established in 1938 and was produced solely by the firm of "Carl Eickhorn, Solingen". The near mint blade exhibits excellent cross graining, with only very minor runner marks from being removed and reinserted into the scabbard over the years. The front of the blades ricasso is stamped with the daggers number "1546". This number corresponds with the number "1546" stamped on the scabbard's throat fitting. The blade has also been personalized by a previous owner with the name "H. Opper" engraved on the obverse side. The reverse of the blades ricasso is acid etched with the "TENO" eagle and "Ges Gesch" over the squirrel trademark symbol of "Carl Eickhorn". The fittings are in excellent condition, exhibiting roughly 80% to 90% of the original nickel plating, and much of the original dark factory burnishing in the lower areas. The synthetic trylon orange grip is in near mint condition, showing no cracks or chips and only minor signs of wear. The daggers scabbard is in excellent condition and retains most of dark black-oxide finish. The scabbard does have one small dent, roughly one centimeter in diameter, on the center edge of one side. As mentioned previously, the scabbard throat is stamped with the daggers number "1546", making this an uncommon matched set. The correct leather hanger also accompanies this dagger and is in excellent condition. The leather of the hanger is pliable with only minor wear. This is a rare opportunity to own a matched and personalized TENO Leader Dagger with its correct leather hanger!
