1880's Indian Wars era grouping that represents an enlisted cavalry trooper's uniform on the Western frontier. Includes: 1880's five button general service blouse, and matching blue wool trousers. Blouse retains heather blue wool lining that is intact and tight. M1884 regulation yellow lined cavalry great coat and cape. Both show a few scattered moth nips. Muskrat winter hat with red wool liner to crown. Buffalo fur and leather gauntlets, and M1884 general service leather belt and cast brass "US" plate. CONDITION: Very good overall. PROVENANCE: Dr. Frank Wagner cavalry museum collection.
