1969 Schwinn Green Krate "Pea Picker" Sting-Ray Bicycle. Bike appears to be complete and correct, in very good original unrestored condition retaining it's factory original paint. There are some scratches and marks in the paint, with an original bike dealer sticker present. The seat has one very small "C" shaped puncture mark on the side, and shows wear to the white striping. Serial number: EE04587. Also stamped E79 on right hand rear drop-out.
The Krates took over the bike world in 1968. They were without question the coolest bike on the block. Schwinn Krates were made between 1968 and 1973. The first year they came out with just three: The Orange Krate, Apple Krate and the Lemon Peeler. Due to their enormous success, more models were introduced and some amazing accessories were added every year.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
