C. 1937, Rudolph Wurlitzer Company, North Tonawanda, NY. This is a Wurlitzer Simplex Multi-Selector Phonograph, Model 616, Serial number A29897A. Designed by Paul Max Fuller, it was the last of Wurlitzer's all-wood models, released in 1937. CONDITION: Original condition with multiple areas of veneer lifting along the top-back edge. Overall patina is good. Missing the back door. Interior is original parts, coin slots and mechs are also original. Small areas of missing wood in the front speaker area. Dials are in place and free of breaks. Great candidate for restoration.
