A rare example of this hard to find blue version of this ceramic Hires Root Beer dispenser, featuring ugly kid graphics. This piece is marked "Villeroy & Boch" on the bottom side. It retains its original complete lid, as well as part of an unusual push button metal spigot. CONDITION: The body of this dispenser shows excellent color and shine throughout the graphic areas. There are slight areas of browning and discoloration to the white field. The upper-lip of the dispenser shows a handful of small chips to the ceramic, which are concealed when the lid is placed on this piece. The lid remains complete and nice. The underside of the lid shows a chip to the ceramic on the extreme outer edge. Otherwise, the top side shows small areas of discoloration. The metal spigot on this piece shows age appropriate tarnishing and oxidation, but is likely not original to the piece. This is a rare and desirable version that displays exceptionally well.
