Missing bottom propellers, but otherwise in excellent condition. Possibly could have been a store display. Has Nazi Swastikas on back tailfins, marked "D-LZ129", also marked "Hindenburg" on one side of nosecone. Made out of thick paper and cardboard with metal banding, probably period to when the Hindenburg was in flight, potentially c. 1930's, possibly before the May 6th, 1937 Hindenburg Disaster in New Jersey, where the zeppelin exploded while attempting to dock with its mooring mast at Lakehurst. Very interesting and could be a one-of-a-kind piece, perfect for zeppelin and hot air balloon collectors.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
Item Dimensions: 54" x 9 - 1/2" x 9 - 1/2".
