SST. This impressive c. 1910s single-sided tin sign from John Deere features their iconic company logo with four-legged deer graphic - often called the "three-legged deer" but the fourth leg peers over the left rear - and "Plows" within the deer, all within a wonderfully smaltz-painted dark background. This sign is nicely framed and is marked on the backside "John Deere Plow Co. Kansas City, MO" and "A.H. Lewellen. Dewitt, MO." The wood frame has been reinforced on the backside with newer wood. CONDITION: The field of this sign retains a wonderful patina, with general wear and crazing to the paint throughout. Paint loss can be seen in the field, but it does not detract from the style and presentation of the sign. A stunning and always desirable piece of advertising history.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.

Condition: (8.0).

Item Dimensions: Frame: 144" x 2" x 38".
