Possibly the earliest example of Hires Root Beer advertising we have ever come across. Very early paper advertisement for Hires Improved Root Beer, showing an early scene with Uncle Sam in a tree passing out frosty glasses of root beer to citizens of all ethnicities. Even shows a man struggling on his hands and knees with a bottle of rum in his hand. This sign has to predate anything with the Hires iconic ugly kid advertising, and in itself is an amazing statement of the time. The sign has been trimmed, has some light creasing, but a compelling image that represents the birth of Hires Root Beer in the 19th century.

Condition: (6.0 - 6.5).

Item Dimensions: Frame: 18 - 1/2" x 22 - 3/8".
FRAMED HIRES ROOT BEER SIGN.
