Magnificent special order saddle, made for A.J. McGregor, August 2, 1920, by Hamley's master craftsman, F.J. McMonies. It sold for nearly double the price of other saddles at the time, and was the premier saddle pattern that year. It boasts a beautiful rich color, full flower tooling with fabulous figural eagles, tall 5" rope edge cantle, nickel show horn, ten large beautifully engraved sterling silver corner and stirrup drop medallions, and a 14" seat. In wonderful untouched condition.
