IMHOFF AND MULKE/WELTE ROLL PLAYING BARREL ORCHESTRION

C: 1870. Imhof & Mukle, Vohrenbach, Germany. This original pinned barrel orchestrion had the barrel replaced in the 1890's with a Welte roll-playing system. This conversion expanded the possible tunes from 1 the the full assortment of Welte rolls. This particular example was played in the Philadelphia Opera Hall in the early 1900's and was restored for the current owner by Hayes McClaren. CONDITION: Completely restored and maintained on location in the Zaharakos Ice Cream Parlor and Museum in Columbus IN. Fully operational, in near perfect condition. Comes with an assortment of rolls. NOTE: This item is featured on location in Columbus Indiana. It will be the sole responsibility of the new owner to arrange for movement and delivery. Please ask for any additional details, the musical instrument will need to be dismantled in order to be removed from location, crated and transported.
