This C. 1900s-1910s reverse painted glass sign from Lykens Brewing Company features the company's shield logo with a nice eagle graphic on top. CONDITION: The inner blue and cream-colored sections of the shield logo shows the paint flaking on the underside. There are also a few areas in the red parts of the field that shows light paint deterioration on the underside of the glass as well. The outer black border shows light paint loss and wear, only seen with the right light. The "Lykens" lettering shows a nice 3-D effect with deeply debossed formed material under the glass. The extreme outer edges are concealed by the original oak frame.
