11” T. Manufactured in 1870’s by Jerome Secor in Bridgeport, Conn. The action is very intricate for a toy of this era and is handsomely crafted of lead, iron, wood and clockwork gears. Figure is dressed in original cotton and wool fabric. When wound and activated, he pleasingly sways his body rhythmically, taps his foot in perfect time and mimics an appropriate musical action, all while with the hint of a satisfying grin. Beautiful working condition. From long-time collection. (Near Mint).
