With its original engine, this previously frame-off resored 1924 Studebaker Light Six upholds many of its traits as it left South Bend, Indiana. With gray and purple trim, this sedan features a pull-out windshield, original wooden wheels, and period-correct interior. The inline L-head six cylinder 207 cubic inch engine produces 40 horsepower, controlled by a 3-speed transmission. The ‘24 was the first year Studebaker changed these cars’ name to the Standard Six, although they carried the World War I tradition since the line was introduced in 1918. With its 113” wheelbase, this lengthy sedan sold new in its day for nearly $1,500. Offered without reserve, this is a car worthy of museum-quality placement.Fast Bullet Points:- Original engine- Previous frame-off restoration- Gray/purple trim- Wooden wheels- Period correct interior- No reserve
