Pre-war. Includes original set box and individual boxes. Set includes 763E locomotive semi scale in black, 2226WX tender, 2955 tank car, 2954 boxcar, 2956 hopper and 2957 caboose. Locomotive and tender have no scratching or blemishes with nice original, like new patina. Locomotive and tender are in excellent plus to like-new condition. Caboose shows mildew spots, slight warping and needs cleaning but in excellent condition. Hopper car needs cleaning, has some wear to the lettering but is in excellent condition. Box car needs cleaning, lettering is bright and is in excellent condition. Shell tank car is very dirty but the decals are perfect and is in excellent condition. Car boxes have all flaps but some are split and detached. Inserts are in all the boxes. All cars, locomotive and tender have cloth wrapping paper. Cars have original cylinders to protect couplers on each end. Set box is complete but tattered. Hard-to-find set in nice original condition.
