Circa1920. Composition head, hands and feet. Charlie is holding a cane in one hand and a cigar or cigarette in the other. Bellows mechanism is in stomach and when squeezed arms and legs move back and forth while Charlie emits a little squeak. Toy is unmarked & may be American made, possibly by Ferguson. There are variations of this toy marked made in Germany or Japan. Some tearing and holes to the front and back of Charlie’s coat, slight cracking to composition head on both sides by ears.
