With box. English. Patent applied for April 1919, made by W.R. and Company Ltd. Very rare. Chaplin image is printed on flat wood surface in black. Toy is operated by squeezing wooden posts on side and Charlieflips around like a gymnast. Tiny piece of one foot is broken off but has been preserved in the box. Otherwise, like-new. Includes original box marked “GymCharlie” with some staining to label. Rare. Collection of Carl Lobel.
