In original box. German. 1920s. Schuco made two versions of this toy, one has a flocked face with a fuzzy texture and the other is a lithographed tin face. This is the flocked face variation. Cloth dressed, celluloid collar, metal cane and shoes. When wound, Charlie waddles forward and spins cane. Toy and clothing have some wear where cloth meets the metal feet. Comes with a laser copy of instruction sheet. Includes original box with beautiful label on front marked “Made in Germany” on bottom right hand corner. Minor staining to label.
