Pre-war. Set includes locomotive 1688E in gunmetal gray with 2689T tender, 2679 boxcar, 2682 caboose, and 2680 tank car, all with lithographed sides. Set is free of blemishes with flat, mint patina. Set is in like-new condition. Set box is in like-new condition. Car and locomotive boxes are made of very thin cardboard and are in like-new condition. Locomotive box has original insert, and one detached but present end flap. Minor tears overall on car boxes but in very good condition. Set includes original transformer in original 1029 Lionel Jr. box.Pre-war Train
