First seen advertised in 1903, the Harkauf Wooden Minnow was sold by H. C. Kaufman & Co. of Philadelphia, PA. This 2-1/2" model appears to be the same as the minnow seen in that ad! This one rigged with 3 single hooks to comply with New Jersey state laws, is finished in blended green back, goldfish belly with red hand painted gill marks, a single belly weight, and the 3 bladed prop unique to Harkauf Minnows. Condition is superb with light paint wear at the belly weight. It would be difficult to find a nicer example.
