19th century. Hand-colored. This "Leporello" fold book was printed in France during the 19th century. It has twenty-five folds that expand to twelve feet in length, showing 50 images of the people of the Pyrenees in costume. There are no tears and no looseness. Some minor foxing at spots. It is extremely rare to find such a book in this condition.
