Barrel lengths 28", .28 bore. 2-3/4" chamber, choke "modified" over "modified", stamped Skeet & Skeet, 14-1/2" LOP from gold single select trigger to Browning logo composition butt plate. Features: matted vent rib with single bead, blued finish, light engraving on frame, checkered walnut stock and fore-end with round knob, bores are mirror, This fine 28 bore retains virtually all of its original finish and is in as new condition inside and out, with the exception of a few minor stock impressions from storage. It comes in its original vintage Browning Tolex leather case, lined in purple velvet. Browning introduced the 28 bore into the Lightning series in 1960.
