Considered to be the first mechanical upright slot machine produced by McDonald Manufacturing. This is a most interesting machine in which a centrifugal wheel is activated to spin the large color wheel...starting off slowly then speeding up and eventually slowing down and stopping when the payout drops into the wooden back of the color wheel. The payout fingers are most unique, approximately 4' in length, and they drop into the wooden wheel. If the same color played is also the winner, then the fingers are pulled slightly downward, tripping the runway payout system, and thus releasing coins into the bottom side payout cup. This machine had been in a private collection since the mid 1960s. Machine has beveled, reverse glass name plate reading, "King Bee." Circa 1899. Includes keys.
