This Edison phonograph is known as a the 2-clip Model A, rounded "suitcase" version. It has the Type 4 Patent Plate that shows the last Patent Date of May 31, 1898 and Serial No. S83892. It has a 14" brass, external horn. It appears that this is one of the "Green Oak" cases, circa 1901.
