12 bore, Barrel length 29-3/4". It has a 14-1/4" LOP to front trigger. Offered is a very early high quality side by side shotgun, manufactured by Westley Richards at their Bond address in London. Barrels feature beautiful pattern Damascus browned steel with single bead, with address on top rib. The barrel breech, tang, frame and trigger guard are finely scroll engraved as are the double hammers. Lock up is tight as new with mirror bores. This very early shotgun features the two piece stock. The fore-end is checkered walnut with horn tip and twin barrel locking keys. Checkering is worn. Butt stock is a straight grip English style with fiery grained walnut and wrap around checkering at wrist. With a steel shotgun butt and nickel oval ID plaque. Hammers are a dulling blue as is trigger guard, while side plates are grey patina. Right side of stock at breech has a 1/2" hairline crack, otherwise solid.
