This is believed to be a rare prototype that was never produced in quantity. It does have an original metal tag on the back that says “Coca-Cola Bottling Co” and is riveted on the piece. The glass is beautiful and very finely made and true to the style of the 1940s in every respect. Our guess is that these may not have been produced because the light will only operate by holding down the rear start button for ten seconds and releasing it very slowly. The company may well have rejected the sign based on that factor. Only very light plating wear on the gold tones of the metal base. 9 - 9.3.
