This example is likely as strong as you will ever find. Within the dark green border, it is literally perfect on both sides and complete with no surface scratches and very glossy surface. The relief on the lettering and the bottle is extremely strong and pronounced on both sides. The cut out section at the top and the edges are very bright and strong as well with only a small number of chips and nicks on any of those areas, as opposed to the higher incidence of chipping that is normally seen on the top of the signs. This lot also includes the original porcelain bracket and brass connectors for this great sign. The bracket displays very well with only a few very minor bends and stress areas where some small portions of the porcelain coating has popped. This makes a wonderful compliment to a strong sign. 9.7 - 9.8.
