Manufactured and sold by R.D. Simpson of Columbus, Ohio. Inside the glass globe is a horse race with multiple horses and a Race Park decal. Depositing your penny and retrieving your gumball the horses would race around the track. A nice machine with aged nickel and its original tin marquee that is so rarely present. Circa 1940, with key.
