This is a classic and beautiful design and was made in 1933 for the Chicago World’s Fair. One of only a few known to exist with a central porcelain body and cast aluminum top. The metal interior would hold several gallons of syrup and the dispensing knob is on the back of the piece along with the water drain for the ice. The painted surface have only some minor wear and small chips, while the orange porcelain vase is free of any chips. The central porcelain body has one larger chip at the rear and a few small base chips on the backside, all of which are hidden from view. Very impressive and scarce item. 8.75 – 9.0.
